Spirited Child goes to TING!

Following our success at the Spring Market SpiritedChild was kindly invited, by the owner of TING, to sell our products in their Social Concept Store in Zürich.
TING is a Concept Store and means 'things' in Danish. TING offers an array of products from known labels and new designers from Switzerland and Northern Europe.
TING also stands for 'something that matters' by being socially involved and generous. Offering beautiful products for him and her, children and friends. Many products tell their own story.

SpiritedChild attended Zürich's largest Handmade Design Market i
March 2016
Off to the market we went! Zürich hosted it's new annual Handmade Design Market and we were there. SpiritedChild had it's first stand at this year's biggest Handmade Market. Show casing our Busy Colouring range designed by me, our new backpack range and some surprises too.
It was a fantastic day meeting people who loved our products. Parents and children got to demo our products and choose from a huge selection of our colouring products. Our top sellers were our Busy Colouring Mats - Tishsets zum Ausmalen. We had such great feedback too and custom orders.
A great big thank you to my customers! Thank you for spreading the word too.
New Fabric Designs

Our Busy Mats and Bags are becoming incresingly popular as customers realise that not only are they a way to entertain the kids but they also help with fine motor skills, concentration and colour recognition. It has been proven that allowing children to colour in can improve their development in these areas.
I decided after lots of feedback that it was time to design my own colouring fabric for the Busy Mat and Bags. Children know what they want and I have had lots of requests for farm, train, space, robots and forest themes. So I have put my pen to paper and started designing.

Spiritedchild - the local celebrity!

It was 'per chance', Lea Müller explained in her email to me, that she came across Spiritedchild via Facebook. I was extremely delighted to hear this and even more so when she requested to interview me for the local news paper www.regio.ch. This was great motivation for me, as we had just returned from our holidays.
I love how this newspaper recognises and wants to promote local small businesses. Not only has it helped get the name Spiritedchild out there and telling me they read the article but it has fueled my motivation to suceed as a Mumpreneur! The German version of the article is attached.

Spiritedchild Busy Mats and Bags are now available in a Zurich Boutique. A collection of Busy Mats and Bag gift sets are available to purchase direct in Lys Boutique in Zurich. Get a real feel for the products and even test them out there.
Owner, Jing Jing has created a warm and friendly environment for many artists, designers and crafters to sell in one shop. The concept is like having lots of shops in one shop on the highstreet. In addition, they hold workshops for children to explore their artistic side. Grab a coffee and leisurely look through the store for all local artists work.
